| | About vehicle Steady improvement
after driving to victory in the two-litre class of the 1981 le mans race, courage decided to build his own car for the new group c classification. Equipped with a cosworth 3.3-litre v8 engine, the c01 was a beautiful aluminum monocoque, but it broke down at le mans in 1982 and 1983. The c02 of 1984 also failed to finish. For 1985s c03, courage used a rear-mounted turbocharged porsche 956six-cylinder engine. The new car was heavy but made it home 20th. One hundred lbs. Lighter as the c12, it placed 18th in 1986.
