About vehicle
Traditional chassis underneath, however, was the traditional morgan chassis, derived from the 1936 4-4 (which in turn derived from the three-wheeler morgan that predated world war i). It had a sliding-pillar independent front suspension designed by the companys founder, h. F. S. Morgan, in 1909. tampering with tradition when the plus-4-plus made its appearance, the morgan faithful were shocked, but they stood by the old firm. A sufficient number of plus-4-pluses wrere sold for the company to recoup its investment, but only 26 cars were built. The experience gave morgan the strong impression that it shouldnt tamper with success again. With the exception of the plus-4-plus, morgan sports cars have changed little in appearance over time. and since then the marque continues to sustain one of the longest waiting lists in the world.
The tiny morgan company from the little worcestershire town ofmalvem link owes its unique success to nostalgic styling.
