the lotus 11 was flashy, too. It had a wrrap-around perspex windscreen the cars only real weather protection with side sections that hinged out and downward with the doors. Clips on each side secured the hinged front and rear body sections. The coventry climax engine unit was inclined at ten degrees, permitting an extremely low hood level, but the raised wings were easily seen.
