About vehicle
The Lincoln Continental picked up where it left following the war with a luxuriously handcrafted automobile built with cruising in mind. The Continental, available as coupe or cabriolet, sported a criss-cross patterned grille, a low hood adorned with a winged globe ornament and sparing use of chrome. Powering the Continental was a 130-hp 305-cid V-12 engine and a 3-speed manual transmission. Options included white walls, a radio, and overdrive.
