About vehicle
Vi2 engine giotto bizzarini designed the four-overhead-cam engine and tubular steel chassis of the new car, which was introduced at the 1964 geneva show. Although lamborghini would be known later for midengined models, this 3-5-litre v12 engine, fortified by six weber carburetors, was up front. The fully independent suspension was by coil springs. aluminum-bodied two-seater designed by carrozzeria touring, the aluminum-bodied 350gt was chiefly a two-seat coupe, although a few convertibles were made. Styling characteristics included recessed headlights, rearwheel semiskirts and a bodyside crease from the front fender to the door handle. The interior had leather bucket seats and dashboard. Some 120 350gt coupes were built, not counting 23 equipped with the 3.9-litre engine of the successor 400gt.
