in 1954, kaiser attempted to boost the marques failing image with the introduction of a stylish sports model that darrin created on the small henry j chassis. The bodywork was composed from the new miracle material of aeron armor-clad fiberglass, and its styling was a synthesis of darrins entire career, resulting in an uneasy mixture of paris and hollywood. The cars front was particularly strange, with a tiny grille resembling a pair of puckered lips.
